Unfortunately the shower base is poorly designed so that the top surface of the entrance slopes down to the outside. Therefore water collects against the shower door and leaks onto the floor if there is the smallest gap, or drys every day to leave a puddle of scum. All other sides are perfectly level so it was not the fault of the installer.
